New Delhi: Former captain of the Indian cricket team Kapil Dev has been admitted to the hospital after suffering a heart attack. According to reports, the captain, who won India's first World Cup, suffered a heart attack on Friday. He is undergoing angioplasty at Fortis Escort Hospital in New Delhi. According to latest report, now they are better than before.

''Currently, he is admitted in ICU and under the close supervision of Dr. Atul Mathur and his team. Kapil Dev is stable now and he is expected to get discharged in a couple of days,'' the statement added.
It is a procedure in which arterial blocks opened and stents are placed there. According to the hospital, after the completion of the procedure, information related to his health will soon come.
