Pandya ditches Rohit Sharma; picks Gayle for his Gully Cricket team

Hardik Pandya picked his 6 member gully cricket team while in chat with Harsha Bhogle. He preferred Chris Gayle over his Mumbai India’s teammate and skipper Rohit Sharma.

Mumbai: Star all rounder, Hardik Pandya quite amazed the fans during the recent chit chat with commentator Harsha Bhogle. He chose West Indies hitter, Chris Gayle over own teammate Rohit Sharma in his 6 member gully cricket team. Bhogle asked him to pick his favorite opener among; Rohit Sharma, David Warner, KL Rahul, Gayle and Quinton De Kock. Pandya chose Gayle straight away.

Rohit Sharma and Chris Gayle are two among the highest six hitters in the Indian Premier League so far.

Pandya explained the reason for his selection too. He stated that he is big time fan of Gayle’s hitting and have always appreciated him. He also added that he admires the attitude West Indians display on field. They have always been known as most lively and fun people to be around.

His next two picks came too quick as  he went with skipper Virat Kohli and seasoned M.S. Dhoni. Kohli is currently leading the Indian side in all 3 formats of the game. Kohli also leads Royal Challenger Bangalore in IPL who’s struggling to get the fame in the same format. MSD led Chennai Super Kings has already lifted the trophy thrice in IPL’s history.

Showing his inclination towards the West Indian side, he also picked up Andre Russel over ace fielder Ravindra Jadeja and England’s hero Ben Stokes. He completed his squad by picking his Mumbai Indian’s teammate, Krunal Pandya and splendid pacer, Jasprit Bumrah.
