I can play even after World Cup 2019, says MS Dhoni

New Delhi: Since the day Mahendra Singh Dhoni has stepped down as Indian Cricket team skipper, the Cricketing circles are rife with speculation about his retirement. There are many who believe that Champions Trophy 2017 could be his swansong.

Dismissing the presumptions, Mahi on Thursday hinted of playing even after World Cup 2019 by saying, "the way I am today, I can easily go beyond the 2019 World Cup."

He, however, said that two years is a long time and lot can change in it. "With such a busy schedule of Indian Cricket team, one becomes a Vintage car," he added.

It may be mentioned here that MSD will be seen in the Indian Premiere League, playing for Rising Pune Supergiants, ahead of Champions Trophy. This will be for the first time when MS Dhoni will not be seen leading his side.
