St. John’s: Star performer of World T20 final Carlos Brathwaite has been named as the skipper of the West Indies for the two T20 games against India.

Both teams will play two-match T20 series at the Fort Lauderdale in Florida on August 27 and 28 respectively.

West Indies chairman of selectors Courtney Browne said-

  • Brathwaite is one of the most talented players in the T20 format of the game.

Expecting a nail-biting drama, Browne further said they are looking forward to a competitive series against India in these matches.

Indian team is yet to be announced.

West Indies T20 squad: Carlos Brathwaite (capt), Andre Fletcher, Andre Russell, Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Evin Lewis, Jason Holder, Johnson Charles, Kieron Pollard, Lendl Simmons, Marlon Samuels, Samuel Badree, Sunil Narine.
