Ashwin applauds Anil Kumble, says coach energised team

Basseterre: Praising Indian head coach Anil Kumble, off-spinner R. Ashwin on Thursday said that former has brought lot of energy and perfectionism in the their side.

Ashwin said-

• There is a lot of planning when Kumble is around.
• He brought a lot of energy and meticulousness among the group.
• For example, if you are going well but wickets haven't fallen, he might be that one hand around your shoulder saying this is exactly what we want you to keep doing.

Ashwin’s childhood went watching Anil Kumble bowling for the Indian Cricket team and he still finds the same man, same discipline and same intensity in the ace-spinner.

Ahead of the second practice match, Kumble was also seen bowling to the Indian batsmen during practice session.

India will take on West Indies in four-test match series. The first Test match is scheduled to start from July 21 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua in West Indies.
