Rio De Janeiro: It was a narrow miss for India’s shooter Abhinav Bindra who finished at fourth spot during the finals of the men's 10 metre Air Rifle at the Olympic Shooting Centre here on Monday.

Bindra started well, but finished fourth with a total score of 163.8.

With this, career of the 2008 Beijing Olympics Gold medallist ends as he had earlier announced about his international retirement after the Rio Olympics 2016.

Earlier in the day, Bindra had qualified for the 10 metre Air Rifle finals, while Gagan Narang disappointed in the qualification round.

Abhinav finished seventh with a cumulative score of 625.7. Meanwhile, Narang could only manage 621.7 and crashed out of the event.
