Snapdeal's Journey: Reinventing for Value Commerce Success

New Delhi: E-Commerce website Snapdeal falls prey to misunderstanding by few people in the country, who have uninstalled its app from their mobile phones as a mark of protest against photo sharing application 'Snapchat'.

The soup started after a former Snapchat employee had alleged that the company's CEO Evan Spiegel is in no mood to expand its business in "poor" countries like India. Irked Twitteratis started a trend #boycottSnapchat to express their displeasure.

The massive blunder came to light when people started giving bad reviews to Snapdeal instead of Snapchat. This came as the reviewers confused the 'snapchat' and 'snapdeal' being two products from a common origin.

Few also shared the screenshot of their review for the app on Google Playstore.

Check out the screenshots:

Meanwhile, Snapchat has rubbished the allegations made by its former employee.
