PM Modi is proud of Indian Hockey team

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday congratulated Indian Hockey team for their performance in the Champions Trophy final. Modi applauded team effort by terming their play as brilliant.

PM Modi took to micro-blogging site Twitter to congratulate Indian Hockey team.

Congrats to our Hockey Team for a spirited performance in Champions Trophy finals. Their effort has been brilliant. We're proud of the team.

India had reached the finals of the Champions Trophy for the first time but hopes of winning the title crushed as they faced defeat against Australia by 1-3.
