Bengaluru: Moto G4 Play users have been given a reason to rejoice by Google as tech giant is all set to float the Android Nougat update for the smartphone uses in June 2017.

According to the media reports, a Lenovo spokesperson has confirmed that the Android Nougat update will be provided to Moto G4 Play users by June this year.

Moto G4 Play is the cheapest variant of the Moto G4 series as it is currently priced at around Rs 7,999 on Amazon India. It may be recalled that the other two smartphones in the much popular G-series – the Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4 - got the Android Nougat update in December 2016.

The new update of Android has been awaited by the Moto G4 Play users as it bring attractive features like improved battery life, enhanced security, expanded emoji, quick settings controls that can be easily accessed to change settings, virtual reality compatibility and the ability to run two apps side-by-side.

The news has gone viral over social media platforms as the smartphone users are extremely ecstatic over teh development.
