Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party government's 'digital India' slogan over the technical glitches being faced during the civic body polls on Sunday.

The Samajwadi Party president took to twitter, taking a dig at the BJP government and said, "Media reports that a lot of voters names are missing from the voting list of today’s election. This type of digital India cannot take us forward."

-It is to be mentioned that problems of missing names from the voters list, technical glitches in the EVMs and late start of voting were the major problems that were reported from many booths during the early hours of polling.
