Yogi Adityanath goes tough with private schools for arbitrary fee hike

Lucknow: The Central observer for the legislature party meet, Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday officially announced Yogi Adityanath as the leader of the party legislatures and the Chief Minister designate in Uttar Pradesh.

Soon after being elected the legislature party leader, Yogi Adityanath met Governor Ram Naik at Raj Bhawan and staked claim to form government in Uttar Pradesh. Adityanath, talking to the media persons here, assured of good governance in the state. He expressed gratitude to those who supported him.

Addressing a press conference, Naidu said that it would be the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's agenda over which the party will work in the state.

Announcing that the swearing in ceremony will take place at 2:15 pm on Sunday, Naidu said Yogi was the unanimous choice of party and MLAs.

Thanking the MLAs, Naidu said Yogi had asked for two supporters following which we assigned Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma as Deputy Chief Ministers. He said BJP MP Suresh Khanna had also proposed the name of Gorakhpur MP for the top post of the state.
