Lucknow: In the case of the arrest of the chairman of Congress Minority Cell, party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi has attacked the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh. She has tweeted that the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is using police administration against other parties by making tools of repression. This government has been suppressing the voice raised by the parties, but it is not easy to suppress the voice of our party.

BJP Govt is stopping the voice of opposition party:

On the arrest of the Congress leader in Lucknow, the party Priyanka Gandhi Vadra wrote that "Congress leaders and activists are committed to raising their voice on public issues. The BJP government can stop other parties from raising their voice, not our party, by making the UP police a tool of repression. See how the UP police picked up the chairman of our minority department in the dark of night. '

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also said, 'First, our state president was kept in jail for four weeks on fake charges. This police action is repressive and undemocratic. Congress soldiers are not afraid of police sticks and fake cases. '

On Monday, Congress leader Shahnawaz Alam was arrested by the police from the capital Lucknow. Shahnawaz Alam is the chairman of the Congress Minority Cell. The police arrested him in December last year for demonstrating against the CAA and NRC.

Police arrested Shahnawaz Alam in front of the Golf Links apartment near the Chief Minister's residence. Similarly, Ashish Awasthi took to the police station. Ashish Awasthi deals with the social media work of UPCC. Police has not yet informed about the arrest of Ashish Awasthi.
