Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveiled the Bharatiya Janata Party's 'sankalp patra' for Uttar Pradesh local body polls, on Sunday, with 27 objectives the party has set to develop cities and towns.

CM Adityanath said that the manifesto has been released to remind the responsibility we have towards the people of UP.

At the event, the CM had, by his side, his deputies Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma and urban development minister Suresh Khanna along with state party president Mahendra Nath Pandey.

BJP state president Pandey said, "the elections were very significant for the party because they meant the party's direct contact with voters."

Underlining how important these polls are for the party, Pandey stated that these elections will provide us an opportunity to get in direct touch with the state-men.

The state president also slammed former government in the UP stating that the previous parties when, ruled the state, did not let our mayors work for the betterment of people.

"We made a survey in the state and the feedback suggest, no one is in fight with us inthe pols," confident Pandey said.
