Yogi Adityanath to resign on Tuesday; will meet PM Modi
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will tender his resignation on Tuesday from the Lok Sabha, where he is into his fifth consecutive term.
Adityanath will fly to Delhi to give his resignation to President Pranab Mukherjee.
Sources close to the CM said that Yogi Adityanath will also meet Vice President Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to the national capital. He is expected to distribute the departments among the ministers after returning.
The newly elected CM on Monday held a meeting with the Uttar Pradesh administrative officers and directed them to implement with full seriousness and sensitivity, the points mentioned in the Bharatiya Janata Party's Lok Sankalp Patra.
