New Delhi: Big changes are expected in the politics of West Bengal again. It is reported that some MLAs who joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) before the assembly elections are looking forward to a return to the Trinamool Congress.

The number of these MLAs is being told 33. However, BJP has denied these reports. Former TMC leaders Sarla Murmu, Sonali Guha and Deependu Vishwas have already openly expressed their willingness to join the party.

Mukul Roy's son hints at joining TMC:

It is being claimed in media reports that BJP national vice president Mukul Roy's son Shubhranshu Roy is looking towards TMC. However, this has not been officially confirmed yet.

In fact, such speculation had started after one of his Facebook posts, in which Roy said that it is better to observe oneself than criticize the government. Roy, who had contested from Bijpur on a BJP ticket, had to face defeat.

BJP leaders says no to rumors:

In media reports, BJP spokesperson Shamik Bhattacharya is calling the news of BJP leaders joining TMC as a rumour. They say that this claim is false. Here, TMC does not want to take any hasty steps on the decision related to defection.

According to party MP Shukhendu Shekhar Roy, this issue can be discussed in the party meeting. He has told that the answers to many questions will be sought first regarding the return of the leaders who have left the TMC.

He informed that first it would be seen why he had parted ways from the party. What is the purpose of return? Only after getting such information, a decision can be taken regarding their re-membership. He has claimed that the names of many leaders have not surfaced yet. TMC MP has said that if the situation remains like this, then BJP will be cleared from the state.
