We can combat terrorism through love and harmony: says Azam
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh government on Monday told the Vidhan Sabha that there was no input about activities of terror outfits like Al Qaeda and Islamic State of Iraq and Syria(ISIS) in Uttar Pradesh.
“In any case, we are ever vigilant and able to counter whatever comes our way,” UP Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mohammad Azam Khan said while responding to the query of Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) MLA Shyam Rai Chaudhary in the house. Adding,“to stop terrorism is not in the hands of the government, we can combat it through love and harmony.”
Discussion held on stopping the influence of ISIS:
- There is no input of activeness of terror outfits in Uttar Pradesh.
- We should always achieve a consensus on various issues after discussion, said Azam to Leader of Opposition Swami Prasad Maurya.
- State government is ready to coordinate with the Centre over the issue of terrorism.
