New Delhi: On the second day of his visit to Jammu and Kashmir, Home Minister Amit Shah said in a public meeting that the era of development has begun in Jammu and Kashmir. I have come to Jammu and Kashmir today to say that the time of injustice to the people of Jammu and Kashmir is over. Now no one can do injustice to you. Now Jammu and Kashmir will develop and this state will contribute to the progress of the country.

PM Modi abolished Article 370 and 35A: Shah

Amit Shah said that on August 5, 2019, Prime Minister Modi took a historic decision and abolished Article 370 and 35A. Due to this lakhs of people of Jammu and Kashmir got their rights. Now all the rights of the Indian Constitution are being given to all the people here.

The Home Minister said that earlier in Jammu, Sikhs, Khatris, Mahajans did not have the right to buy land. Refugees who came here from there did not have rights, Valmiki, Gujjar brothers did not have rights. Now these brothers of mine are going to get all the rights of the Constitution of India.


Seven new medical colleges have now been established in J&K: Amit Shah

Amit Shah said that there was a time when there were only five but four medical colleges in Jammu and Kashmir. Today I have come to tell you that seven new medical colleges have now been established in Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier 500 students could do MBBS from here, now around 2,000 students will be able to do MBBS here.

Home Minister Amit Shah said that yesterday these three family members were asking me the question that what will you give by giving? Brother, I have come with an account of what I will give. But for 70 years three families ruled in Jammu and Kashmir, come back with account of what you have given. Today Jammu and Kashmir is demanding an account.

Rs 55,000 crore package given for development of J&K: Shah

Amit Shah said that Modi had given a package of Rs 55,000 crore for the development of Jammu and Kashmir as soon as he became the Prime Minister. Today, out of Rs 55,000 crore package, Rs 33,000 crore has been spent, 21 development schemes have been completed.
