Vsihva Hindu Parishad distances itself from Sadhvi Prachi

Lucknow: The Hindutva outfit, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Tuesday reiterated that has nothing to do with the organization.

In a statement issued, a VHP Spokeperson said that she has been misusing name of the organization while she was never even its member. "We dissociate with Sadhvi Prachi and her actions," it stated.

Reacting sharply to the VHP statement, Sadhvi told newztrack.com that she is an active member of the VHP. "I am an active member and its leader. There are some people in the VHP who are jealous of my growing popularity. I am not distracted by their criticism. I will continue to work for the organization," she said.
