Lucknow: BJP Mahiloa Morcha Uttar Pradesh president Madhu Mishra has been expelled from the party for six years for her controversial statement on caste system in Aligarh.

BJP State spokesperson Vijay Bahadur Pathak confirmed this to newztrack.com on Monday. He said her statement was taken as against ideology of Bharatiya Janata Party which always spoke of ‘samajik samrasta’.

In her controversial statement, Madhu Mishra while speaking at ‘Vipra sammelan’ in Aligarh on Sunday had called for the unity of Brahmin community with an adverse comment on the Dalits. She had said, “who used to clean our shoes are sitting above us”.
