Hyderabad: Several party leaders including BJP national president JP Nadda, UP CM Yogi Adityanath have visited Hyderabad. Now Amit Shah has reached Hyderabad. He went to Bhagyalakshmi temple and prayed before the road show in Sikandarabad. Their roadshow is happening after worship in the temple. Let us know that the Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded many of its veteran leaders in the Hyderabad civic elections.

Owaisi lashed out at BJP

Amit Shah will also address the media in Hyderabad today. He will hold a press conference at Dr. Shyam Prasad Mukherjee Bhavan at 3 pm at BJP's state office in Nampally in Hyderabad. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi Tanz has also tightened up the veteran BJP leaders for the Hyderabad civic elections. Owaisi had said that this election has become the Prime Minister and not the Hyderabad body.

He said that BJP has invited so many leaders in this election, now only Donald Trump is left. Even if they come, nothing will happen. Because PM Modi had also said to hold his hand that this time the Trump government but he also did not survive and fell into the pit.

“Wherever he goes he says we will change the name of the place. UP’s Chief Minister comes here and says he will rename (Hyderabad). You will be renamed, but Hyderabad will never be renamed. Have you taken a contract for this renaming every place? Ask them who made Taj Mahal, they will say we will rename. Now tomorrow maybe they will say Charminar was made by them, Charminar is so pious a place, admire its beauty. No they(BJP) just want to rename. Some of their leaders will say that they will hoist their flag on our Minarets, I ask them how? Our flag is hoisted there – our political flag. Here, neither your flag will work nor your sticks. MIM was in Hyderabad and will always remain,” Owaisi said.

Hyderabad civic election has, at the moment, become the center of national politics. There are eyes on this across the country. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation election is also being considered as the litmus test of the 2023 Telangana assembly election. Therefore, BJP is looking at this election as an opportunity to establish its presence in Hyderabad and increase political base in Telangana.
