Lucknow: Launching a scathing attack on Uttar Pradesh government, the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that state government should stop crying for revenue as the Central government has increased its pool to 42 per cent from 32 per cent.

Singh was speaking at the ‘Adhikaar Dialo Rally’ in Lucknow on Sunday.

What else he said:

  • I was also a Chief Minister and I know how the government runs
  • The revenue is like a ‘Kuber ka khazana’ and I will talk to state governments over this issue.

The Union Home minister said that Modi government has not only given adequate funds to the state government has increased it from this financial year

No government since Independence has given this much amount of money.
