Now Congress party loosing its power from other states too. After Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, the Congress seems to be crumbling in Assam.

New Delhi: First Jyotiraditya Scindia and then so many party members from Rajasthan and Gujarat resigned. Now Congress party loosing its power from other states too. After Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, the Congress seems to be crumbling in Assam.

Many state Congress MLAs are not happy with the central and state leadership roles. In Assam, Congress Legislature Party leader Devavrata Saikia himself is not happy with the state leadership role.

Resignation of Devvrat Saikia:

In a conversation Devvrat accepted that he will continue working with congress party. But resign from legislature post. Somewhere there is confusion that what he will do.

He says that the state leadership has failed to excite MLAs and Congress workers. While the central leadership is unable to take any decision in this regard. In such a situation, it is better that the leadership entrust the responsibility of the leader of the legislative party to another MLA.

It is known that Devvrat Saikia is the son of veteran Congress leader of Assam and former Chief Minister, Late. Hiteshwar Saikia. MLAs and other leaders, led by former minister and legislative party deputy leader Rakibul Hussain, have campaigned against New Delhi for nearly a year within the Congress.

Scindia's Resign:

Few days ago Jyotiraditya Scindia resigned from the Indian National Congress party. He has served the party for more than 18 years. He resigned on the day of Holi. In his statement he said that he was not able to serve the country and countrymen under congress party.

He also claimed that he tried to talk to Mr. Rahul Gandhi but he was busy. After this the political scenario of Madhya Pradesh totally changed. BJP asked for the floor test to Kamal Nath Govt.
