With the demise of former foreign minister, Sushma Swaraj, the national capital has lost its three former chief ministers in less than a year.
New Delhi: To run the world's largest democracy many great personalities joined Indian politics to serve their motherland with their lives. India has been the home to many prominent leaders, who not only worked for public welfare but also lead India to the path of development and success.
With the demise of former foreign minister, Sushma Swaraj, the national capital has lost its three former chief ministers in less than a year.

Swaraj, who was the chief minister of Delhi for a brief period from October-December 1998, passed away on Tuesday night due to cardiac arrest.
The sorrow and grief had engulfed the whole nation when three-time chief minister and veteran Congress leader Sheila Dikshit passed away in July, 2019 due to cardiac arrest.
Diskhit and Swaraj died within a month. Their sudden death has created a void in the political spectrum.
Madan Lal Khurana, who was the chief minister from 1993-96, also passed away in October last year. He had also worked with Atal Bihari Vajpayee and served as the Union Minister of Parliamentary affairs and Tourism in the his government.
