Samajwadi Party's cycle has punctured, says Rahul Gandhi

Mirzapur: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi took a jibe at the ongoing rift within the Yadav family saying that Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav is trying to fix his cycle (SP election symbol) after four years of rule in the state.

Rahul was addressing a rally at Uttar Pradesh's Mirzapur district.

What else Rahul Gandhi said?

• Akhilesh Yadav was trying to fix his cycle by throwing out his leaders but nothing is going to help.
• The tyre (of the cycle) is already punctured.

It may be mentioned that Rahul and Akhilesh had recently praised each other by exchanging 'good boy' comments.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi also slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his public meeting.

• PM Narendra Modi is busy making visits to various parts of the globe while farmers in the country are facing problems.
• Modi waived off loans amounting to Rs 1.10 lakh crore for industrialists but we will waive it for poor farmers.
