New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi targeted Modi Govt on Thursday in a Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting. The Congress Working Committee meeting was managed through video conferencing.

In which, problems arising due to corona virus crisis were discussed. The interim president of the party Sonia Gandhi, former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, Rahul Gandhi, and other senior leaders attended the meeting.

Sonia Gandhi criticised the Govt:

Sonia Gandhi said that continuous testing is necessary to fight the corona virus. She also said that our Doctors, Nurses and Health workers need support and they should get all the facilities.

"The 21-day national lockdown may have been necessary but the unplanned manner in which it has been implemented has caused chaos and pain in the lives of migrant workers," she added.

Sonia Gandhi continued, "We are in the midst of unprecedented health and humanitarian crises today. The challenge before us is tough, but our resolve to overcome it should be more.”

She said in India, the poor and disadvantaged have been most vulnerable to the consequences of the pandemic. "We must come together for their sake and do all we can to support them through the difficult days that lie ahead," she said.

PM Modi's meeting with Chief Ministers:

Prime Minister Modi talked about the Corona virus through video conferencing with the Chief Ministers of all the states of India. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Punjab Chief Minister Amrinder Singh,, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are among those who attended the video conference.
