I was very slim when I first entered Parliament, says Yogi

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath got nostalgic on Tuesday in his farewell speech in the Lok Sabha. While addressing the members, he recalled when he for the first time stepped into the temple of democracy, he was 26 and very slim.

“I still remember when I first entered the parliament, I was very slim and was only 26-year old,” said Yogi.

In a quick repartee, Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan shot back," you are still slim,”

Every one present in the House burst into laughter.
