Sanjay Agarwal of BJP business committee joins Samajwadi Party

Lucknow: Bharatiya Janata Party business committee's national president Sanjay Agarwal on Monday joined Samajwadi Party, levying some heavy allegations on the party and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The former BJP leader said that since he was born in RSS cadre, the feeling of communalism was instilled in him from the very first day. Agarwal also stated demonetisation as the biggest scam of the country till date.

Agarwal joined the SP in the presence of its state president Naresh Uttam and was appointed as the national secretary of the party.

What else he said:

  • Some people wanted me to become the UP president of the BJP but I lost the opportunity because of the conspiracy by some other BJP leaders.
  • The BJP is not thinking about the welfare of its workers. They prefer outsiders over their own party workers when it comes to nominate assembly candidate.
  • I have got rid of the communal feeling that was instilled in me by the BJP and RSS.
  • I will try to be the shield of Akhilesh Yadav at every step.

It could also be mentioned that many senior BJP leaders have joined Samajwadi Party today and 'Akhil Bharatiya Vyapar Mahsabha was also merged in the SP.
