The list was declared immediately after SP formalised its alliance with the Congress. According to the electoral pact, SP will content 298 seats leaving 105 for the Congress.

The declaration was made by SP state president Naresh Uttam and Congress state president Raj Babbar in a joint press conference in the national capital on Sunday evening.

Meanwhile, both the parties will issue a common agenda paper in a week.

He said that the alliance between the two parties will work towards keeping BJP and Mayawati-led Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) away from the power in Uttar Pradesh.
