Ramesh Yadav sworn in as new chairman of UP Vidhan Parishad
Lucknow: The current Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council,known as 'House of Elders' is perhaps the youngest-ever House, Ramesh Yadav ,the newly elected Chariman of the Council said here on Friday.
''Never before, we have seen so many young and educated members joining at the same time, '' He said while taking oath as Chairman of the Upper House on Friday.
Ramesh yadav, MLC from Etah, was administered oath by Om Prakash Sharma at a simple ceremony in Council Hall.
Earlier the oath ceremony of Brajesh Singh, the newly-elected member of Council, had taken place. He could not take oath along with 35 other members on Wednesday as he had to be brought from Saharanpur jail.
