Rajasthan speaker withdraws Supreme Court plea against Sachin Pilot

The ongoing political crisis in Rajasthan does not seem to be over. Following the High Court's decision, a hearing was scheduled in the Supreme Court on Monday.

New Delhi: The ongoing political crisis in Rajasthan does not seem to be over. Following the High Court's decision, a hearing was scheduled in the Supreme Court on Monday. Now in the meantime, Speaker CP Joshi, who is requesting the court to give a quick decision on the matter, has now withdrawn his application. Now the political mercury of the state has become hot.

Joshi took back his petition:

Senior advocate Kapil Sibal, appearing for the speaker, informed the court. The Congress will not fight the battle of politics in Rajasthan, but will fight a political battle now. The country's highest court has allowed Speaker Joshi to withdraw the petition.

Plea neutralized after HC decision:

CP Joshi's lawyer Kapil Sibal said that the High Court's decision can be challenged. Experts say that Speaker Joshi's petition has now been neutralized after the High Court's decision. He therefore decided to withdraw the petition from the Supreme Court.

Speaker CP Joshi withdrew from the Supreme Court on his petition. The Supreme Court of the country has also allowed him to withdraw the petition. According to the information given by Congress sources, due to the hasty petition filed by the speaker in the Supreme Court, the Rajasthan High Court had to resort to the 1992 Khito Holhan Judgment.
