A railway officer will be special secretary to UP CM Yogi

Lucknow: Amit Singh , a senior railway officer, currently on deputation to Ministry of External Affairs as Regional Passport Officer (RPO) of Lucknow, will be the Special Secretary to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

A 2000-batch Indian Railway Stores Services (IRSS) officer will join the CM secretariat after his relieving from MEA and Railways . The ministry of Railways has already sent a letter to MEA to relieve him.

Presently, the UP CM's secretariat has one secretary Mritunjay Kumar Narayan and one special secretary Rigzian Samphel with no Principal Secretary.
