New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has once again become vocal about the dead bodies flowing in the Ganges. In a tweet on Friday, Rahul Gandhi has sought compensation for the families of the victims of this case.

Actually, during the second wave of Corona, pictures of dead bodies flowing in the Ganges river in Uttar Pradesh went viral. After these pictures went viral, the opposition had alleged that the UP government was carrying the dead bodies of the infected people in the Ganges river to hide the deaths due to corona. So on the other hand, the UP government had rejected these allegations of the opposition.

Rahul Gandhi targets Modi Govt:

Rahul Gandhi on Friday tweeted a news headline based on the claim of the head of Namami Gange, saying, "The truth of the pain of the corona dead is flowing in the waves of the Ganges, which is not possible to hide".

At the same time, Rahul Gandhi surrounded the UP government and said that "compensating the families of the victims will be the first step towards justice". In fact, assembly elections are proposed in Uttar Pradesh next year.

In such a situation, this attack on the UP government by Rahul Gandhi can heat up the politics of UP in the assembly elections. In fact, the opposition has already been besieging the UP government for the mismanagement of the UP government during the Corona period.

Director General of National Mission for Clean Ganga and head of Namami Gange Rajeev Ranjan Mishra and Administrative Officer Puskal Upadhyay have written this book with the title "Ganga: Reimagining, Rejuvenating, Reconnecting". Which was launched on Thursday by Bibek Debroy, Chairman of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister.

According to a news report, an excerpt from the book has claimed that more than 300 dead bodies were thrown in the Ganges river during the Corona pandemic. According to the news, stating the effect of corona infection in the book, it has been written that as the number of deaths due to corona infection increased, so did the scope of the place to perform the last rites. Citing the data provided by the districts in the book, it is written that more than 300 bodies were dumped in the river.
