New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has pledged to make every effort for truth, justice and public rights throughout his life on the occasion of New Year. He has also called upon the people to raise their voice to root out the humiliation of women and the growing communal hatred.

Rahul Gandhi on women empowerment:

Rahul Gandhi tweeted and wrote, 'Insults and communal hatred of women will stop only when we all stand against it in one voice.'

He said, 'The year has changed. Change the situation. Now have to speak.' Earlier, on the occasion of New Year, Indian National Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has taken a lifelong pledge to work for truth, justice and rights of the people. Rahul Gandhi tweeted and said, 'Resolution of a lifetime - whatever has to be done for truth, justice and people's rights, we will do it - before, in the future, always. #NoViolence #NoFear 2022'.

The Congress leader's call assumes significance ahead of the assembly elections to be held in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa this year.

Rahul Gandhi also shared a video with this tweet, through which he targeted the PM Modi government. In this tweet, Rahul is questioning the work done by the Modi government during the Corona Pandemic. Rahul Gandhi also tried to surround the government with the issue of Pegasus and the farmers' movement. He also mentioned in his video tweet the number of deaths of farmers and the list of their names during the farmers' movement.
