Rahul Gandhi says Centre accepted my suggestion for corona vaccine booster dose

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced to start covid Vaccination for children between the age of 15-18 years from January 3 next. Not only this, precaution dose will also be given to health workers, frontline workers and people above 60 years of age suffering from other serious diseases as a precaution from January 10.

On the one hand, this decision of PM Modi is being praised everywhere. On the other hand, the opposition has started taking credit for this initiative. The opposition says that due to his repeated emphasis, PM Modi has been forced to take this decision.

This is a right step. The protection of vaccines and boosters will have to reach the people of the country.' Earlier, Rahul Gandhi wrote on Twitter, 'Most of our population is still not vaccinated. When will the Indian government start giving booster shots?


At the same time, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also tried to take credit for this decision. He said, 'According to the opinion of experts, we have written several times requesting the Prime Minister to issue guidelines regarding booster dose of covid vaccine and vaccine for children.'

He said, 'I am happy that today our demand has been met. Accepting this, the Prime Minister has announced a booster dose and vaccination of children from 15 years to 18 years. Vaccine and covid protocol is the only way to fight covid.

On the other hand, TMC MP Mahua Moitra also joined the race for credit takers. He tweeted and wrote, 'Respected Prime Minister Modi ji listened to me and finally announced to give booster dose for frontline workers and those above 60 years of age. However, after taking the credit, people questioned him, first you should decide who PM Modi has listened to. Let us inform that in view of the increasing threat of Omicron, PM Modi announced the vaccination for children.
