Money stolen from treasury for Rafael:

In such a situation, in December 2018, the Supreme Court dismissed public interest petitions seeking investigation under the supervision of the court in the purchase of 36 fighter jets for 59 thousand crore rupees. With this, he said that he did not see anything wrong in it.

But even after this, a period of political accusation continued. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the then Congress President Rahul Gandhi had made allegations of bribery in the Rafale deal and raised it as an election issue.

The BJP, led by the Prime Minister of the country, accused the opposition parties of compromising the national interest by making unwarranted allegations of corruption. He also said that French aircraft will increase the capabilities of the Indian Air Force by leaps and bounds.

In such a situation, most political experts believe that Rahul Gandhi's allegations could not attract voters and the BJP-led NDA came back to the center with a larger mandate.
