New Delhi: Ruling out any possibilities of alliance with Aam Admi Party, the Punjab Congress has decided to release the first list of candidates for the 2017 state Assembly polls on Saturday. The Party chief Captain Amrinder Singh also termed political rival AAP as a 'gone case' and a 'movement of frustation'.

"Alliance is out of question. AAP are nowhere in the state,” he said hitting out at the party. Singh also attacked AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and stated, “I asked him for debate, but he did not come. He wants to be chief minister of Punjab, he should debate with me. There are 117 seats in Punjab, he can contest against me from whichever seat he wants to...” Captain Amrinder Singh also challenged Union finance minister and BJP leader Arun Jaitley to contest from Amritsar.
