Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra addresses 'Kisan Nyay' rally in Varanasi

Lucknow: Congress General Secretary Priyanka Vadra reached Varanasi on Sunday by an Indian Airlines plane regarding the farmers' movement. From Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport directly left for Shrikashi Vishwanath Temple. After worshiping from here, reached Maa Kushmanda the temple in Durgakund. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is also attending the party's Kisan Nyay rally.

Now after doing Puja, Priyanka Gandhi is addressing 'Kisan Nyay' rally. Last week, the son of Union MoS (Home) mowed down 6 farmers with his vehicle. Priyanka Gandhi in Kashi:

Priyanka and Bhupesh Baghel were welcomed by party officials and workers at the airport. Congress state president Ajay Kumar Lallu, former MP Rajesh Mishra, National Secretary Pramod Tiwari, MLA Aradhana Mishra, former MLA Ajay Rai, Tribhuvan Nath Pandey and other Congress leaders are arriving at the airport.

Durga Maa Puja:

Priyanka reached the temple and did darshan and worship. The worship being done in the sanctum sanctorum is being done by the priests of the temple under the leadership of Bablu Mahant of the Mahant family. Bismillah Khan's grandsons Ajdar Hussain, Banne Khan, Zahid Hussain, Azad Khan welcomed Priyanka Gandhi with a shehnai tune.

Priyanka Gandhi also went to the Annapurna temple to offer prayers. After this, she reached Maa Kushmadan Durgakund to worship at the temple.

Meanwhile, when BJP workers raised slogans against Priyanka near Durgakund, Congress workers protested. This heated up the atmosphere for a while. Priyanka reached the farmers rally site Jagatpur via Durgakund to Lanka, Sunderpur. The rally is being addressed first by former MP Rajesh Mishra, followed by former MLA Ajay Rai and now Aradhana Mishra.

All preparations are being made to target the government regarding the incident of Lakhimpur Kheri. The public meeting held at Jagatpur Inter College ground from 1 pm on Sunday is being considered as the beginning of the assembly election campaign. Priyanka will start it by visiting Shrikashi Vishwanath Temple and Maa Kushmanda in Durgakund. On the fourth day of Shardiya Navratri, there is a tradition to see this form of Goddess.
