New Delhi: Party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi is on a two-day tour of Assam to ensure the victory of the Congress in the Assam Assembly Elections 2021. She reached the Sadhru Tea State of the state on Tuesday, the second day under her mission Assam.

Priyanka Gandhi in Assam:

There she met the tea garden laborers. She then broke tea leaves traditionally in the garden with female workers there. Tea plantation and laborers of Assam become an electoral issue in every election. On Tuesday, Priyanka Gandhi will also have an election public meeting in Tezpur.

Tuesday is the second and last day of Priyanka Gandhi's Assam tour. Priyanka Gandhi, who arrived in Assam on the first day on Monday, started a two-day tour with worship at the temple of Kamakhya Devi. Let me tell you that in Assam, voting is in three phases on March 27, April 1 and April 6 for the 126-member assembly.

On Monday, Priyanka Gandhi first stopped in Jalukbari area, where she was welcomed by the Congress supporters. After this, she left for Shakti Peeth in Nilanchal Hills. Priyanka Gandhi had said, 'She wanted to come to the temple for a long time and her wish was fulfilled. I prayed for myself, my family and most of all the people of Assam.

When asked about the upcoming elections, he said that he will talk about politics later. He said, 'I have come to the temple to thank God and seek his blessings, who have given me a lot.' Earlier, Priyanka had given information on her Facebook page to begin her two-day tour in Assam with a darshan at the Kamakhya temple.
