Former President Pranab Mukherjee was hospitalized on the afternoon of August 10 in connection with a surgery. During the investigation, he was confirmed to be corona infected. Pranab Mukherjee is admitted to Army Hospital in Delhi. He underwent brain surgery few days ago, after which he was put on ventilator. Before the surgery, he had a corona examination. Also, which was also reported positive. Thereafter, he developed lung infection and is being treated for the same, doctors said.

Earlier on Sunday, in the Health Bulletin from Army Hospital, it was said that Pranab Mukherjee is undergoing treatment for lung infection. According to doctors, his condition remains 'hemodynamically stable'. That is, Pranab Mukherjee's heart is working properly and blood circulation in the body is also normal. He is still in a deep coma.
