New Delhi: Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram has attacked the Modi government saying that both PM Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman could not answer his questions.

Ever since the lockdown took place across the country, P Chidambaram has been talking about transferring money to the accounts of the poor. Thousands of migrant laborers were trapped on the borders of different states when they were trying to return to their homes. In some places, law and order also came under threat.

P Chidambaram further said that the Modi government should transfer the money to the accounts of the poor and also give them free food. Only the government will not do anything for the poor, who will not have heart. He said that many people are facing shortage of money and are standing in lines to eat.

Meanwhile, Corona virus continues to wreak havoc in India. The total number of corona patients has increased to 15712 and the death toll is 507. The 325 districts of the country are free from infection.
