Opposition creates ruckus over Home Minister Amit Shah's statement on Ambedkar, Rijiju refutes charges

In Rajya Sabha today, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju cornered the opposition over the insult of Baba Saheb Ambedkar. Rijiju said that yesterday Union Home Minister Amit Shah clearly showed our respect for Baba Saheb in his speech. He also said that Congress insulted Ambedkar ji... Congress party did not give him Bharat Ratna for so many years and along with this Congress party insulted Baba Saheb and defeated him in the election in 1952 under a conspiracy... I am a person who follows the path shown by Baba Saheb. When Rijiju was cornering the opposition, there was a lot of uproar in the House. Due to which the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha were adjourned till 2 o'clock. Yesterday, the One Nation One Election Bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha, while the Constitution was discussed in the Rajya Sabha and Amit Shah responded to the discussion. Today there is an uproar about this. Due to the uproar, the proceedings of the Lok Sabha have been adjourned till 2 pm.

On the speech of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the Rajya Sabha during the debate on the Constitution, Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said, "The Union Home Minister spoke about Dr. BR Ambedkar in a very insulting manner. This only shows that he has no respect for Dr. Ambedkar's position or the issues he was raising during his lifetime. All the parties of India will protest against this. All the parties of INDIA will protest outside the Makar Dwar of Parliament today in protest against this.

Opposition MPs, including Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, protested against the speech of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the Rajya Sabha during the debate on the Constitution yesterday. The MPs allege that the Union Home Minister insulted Dr. BR Ambedkar in his speech yesterday.
