Not Kaam, but "Crime Bolta Hai" in UP, says Amit Shah

Deoria: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah on Thursday said that not "Kaam" but crime speaks in Uttar Pradesh under the Akhilesh Yadav government.

Addressing a rally in Deoria district of UP, the BJP President said, "Businessmen and women are not safe in the state. With the maximum cases of murder, Uttar Pradesh stands number 1 in the country. It is on second position when it comes to crimes against women."

Shah said that Samajwadi Party (SP) and Mayawati-led Bahujan Samaj Party are no different and both are equally responsible for closing the doors of development in the state.

What else Amit Shah said?

- BJP government at the Centre kept on providing adequate funds for the development in various sectors but it was misused and never reached the beneficiaries.

- UP is far behind in terms of development if compared to several BJP ruled states.

- The time has come when people here should think about themselves and vote for the party whose sole aim is "sabka saath sabka vikas".

- UP needs double engine to progress. We have one at the Centre, bring us in power in the state.

It may be mentioned that Deoria will go to polls in sixth phase of the UP Assembly Elections on March 4.
