breaking the 2015 mandate, made between him and RJD, stating that the later will never shake hands with the BJP.
According to the newly elected Leader of Opposition, the mandate was valid till five years and was done between the current CM and the RJD. “Nitish has breaxched the mandate of not joining BJP. He has ditched all of us,” said Tejashwi.
Being the Leader of Opposition, Tejashwi was the first person to speak.
Here is what he sated during the proceedings:
- People of Bihar have suffered immensely.
- Sushil Modi should be ashamed of what he has done.
- We have 80 MLAs, Nitish ji knew he could not have removed me.

It is to me mentioned that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had put down his papers earlier and resigned from the Grand Alliance amid corruption allegations against the RJD leaders. He had then accepted the NDA support to form a new government in Bihar.
The act sparked a series of allegations from the Opposition accusing Nitish of political opportunism.
It could also be recalled that Nitish had only criticised then BJP and Narendra Modi during the 2015 Bihar Assembly elections, refusing to join hands with the party.
