Nitish Kumar breached 2015 mandate, accuses angry Tejashwi

Patna: Furious expressions, heavy voice and words of disappointment, the Bihar Assembly witnessed a completely different Tejashwi Yadav on Friday.

Speaking at the special session of the assembly, the former deputy Chief Minister accused CM Nitish Kumar of using him for his benefit. "Nitish has used me as a pawn. He had planned to go with the BJP well in advance," he stated.

breaking the 2015 mandate, made between him and RJD, stating that the later will never shake hands with the BJP.

According to the newly elected Leader of Opposition, the mandate was valid till five years and was done between the current CM and the RJD. “Nitish has breaxched the mandate of not joining BJP. He has ditched all of us,” said Tejashwi.

Being the Leader of Opposition, Tejashwi was the first person to speak.

  • People of Bihar have suffered immensely.
  • Sushil Modi should be ashamed of what he has done.
  • We have 80 MLAs, Nitish ji knew he could not have removed me.
  • We have the numbers to form the government.
  • Nitish Kumar has wrongfully contained several JD(U) MLAs.

The act sparked a series of allegations from the Opposition accusing Nitish of political opportunism.

It could also be recalled that Nitish had only criticised then BJP and Narendra Modi during the 2015 Bihar Assembly elections, refusing to join hands with the party.
