Instead of answering, PM Modi mocked at me: Rahul Gandhi

Bahraich: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, while addressing Janakrosh Rally here on Thursday, stated that he asked few questions from Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Gujarat rally on Wednesday, but instead of answering the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) started mocking me.

He claimed that the questioned were not his but of the people of the country.

"You can mock me as much as you want but first give answers of my questions," said Rahul Gandhi, adding, "If the Narendra Modi-led NDA government takes any action against corruption, Congress will give its full support to them. But demonetisation decision was not against the black money and corruption but the poor people of the country."

"Modi ji has been claiming that the people standing in the bank and ATM queues are thieves, but today I did not see any one wearing suit-boot in the lines," said the Congress scion.

• During the past two and a half years, Modi ji has waived off loans of 15 businessmen.
• He made fun of MGNREGA in Parliament in front of me.
• PM Modi says labourers dig holes, but I would like to tell him that they make the country.

• One per cent population of India has all the black money of the country.
• Modi ji travels abroad in the aircraft of those who have black money.
• All black money is not cash and all cash is not black money.

Attack on Modi government's claim of bringing back black money from abroad:

• India's thieves are most intelligent and greedy. They do not keep their black money in cash.
• Modi ji had claimed that India's lakhs of crores rupees are stashed in foreign banks, which he will bring back and distribute among poor people.
• But no one has yet received Rs 15 lakh which Modi ji promised.
• Has he sent black money hoarders behind bars?
• Modi government helped Vijay Mallya and Lalit Modi escape from the country and now they mock our country sitting in London.

What he said about the plight of poor farmers?

• Modi ji talks about cash-less economy.
• When a farmer goes to buy seeds or to pay his children's school fees, does he pay through cheques or Paytm?
• Modi ji has burnt off poor farmers' hard earned money.
