Lucknow: Giving a clear message to party leaders and workers during the silver jubilee celebration, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Saturday said that unified efforts from all fronts only will help to form the government in Uttar Pradesh for the second term.

Reiterating that shouting slogans would do no good to the party, Mulayam said that the time has come when party workers and supporters must reach to every poor to ensure that their basic needs are fulfilled.

Praising the chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, the party chief said that he, undoubtedly, did good work in the state but there are several miles still uncovered and he needs to focus on it.

Attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mulayam said that minorities in the country are suffering a lot.

What else Mulayam said?

  • Samajwadi Party was not formed for power, instead, it was established for betterment of poor.
  • Serious scrutiny is must to fade away the differences among the party members.
  • Think of poor farmers and women and work for them.
