New Delhi: On the Pegasus spy case, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi along with the leaders of the opposition discussed the strategy to surround the government and put pressure. On the invitation of Rahul Gandhi, leaders of several major opposition parties met at the Constitution Club for breakfast.

Apart from Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Trinamool Congress leader Kalyan Banerjee, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, RJD's Manoj Jha and leaders of many other parties attended the meeting.

Rahul Gandhi Cycle Protest:

Apart from Congress, NCP, Shiv Sena, RJD, SP, CPI(M), CPI, IUML, Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP), Kerala Congress (M), Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, National Conference, TMC and Loktantrik Janata Dal (LJD) were in the meeting. The leaders attended the meeting. On the other hand, after the meeting, Rahul Gandhi, along with the leaders of the opposition, went on a bicycle to the Parliament.

Opposition parties' meet held by Rahul:

During the meeting of opposition leaders, Rahul Gandhi also gave a brief address. Rahul said, 'I think the most important thing is that we get together. The more united this voice (of the people), the more powerful this voice will be, the more difficult it will be for BJP-RSS to suppress it.

The Congress leader held a breakfast meeting with opposition leaders at a time when there has been a deadlock in both the Houses of Parliament over the past several days over Pegasus and some other issues.

Opposition parties say that the impasse in Parliament will end only after the government is ready to hold a discussion on the Pegasus espionage issue first. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, while rejecting the opposition's demand, said in the Lok Sabha on Friday that it was not an issue.
