Modi to launch campaign for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls from 'Taj city' Agra

BJP sources and MP Ram Shankar Katheria has confirmed this news. To review preparations for Modi's visit, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Agra on January 4.

Agra: Prime Minister Narendra Modi after facing defeat in three Hindi heartland states will launch campaign for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls from “Taj city” Agra on January 9.

BJP sources and MP Ram Shankar Katheria has confirmed this news. To review preparations for Modi's visit, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Agra on January 4.

It is to be mentioned that Modi has strategies his moves to “activate” BJP workers and seek support from voters in 2019, by visiting nearly 20 states in just 100 days.

Among these 20 states, West Bengal, Assam and Odisha — together account for 77 Lok Sabha seats, of which the BJP holds just 10, which are to be the key focus areas to touch in his 2019 poll thrust.

For 2014 Lok Sabha polls, PM Modi addressed a Vijay Shankhnad rally at the Kothi Meena Bazar ground in November 2013.

Apart from this, Agra has proved lucky for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). From Agra BJP won nine Assembly seats and two Lok Sabha seats. BJP sources feel that Agra is lucky for the party.
