Chhindwara: Modi attacked Congress in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, on Sunday said that Congress has been playing the politics of betrayal and the people are "tired" of its “false promises.”

“Chhindwara is tired of Congress' false promises. They have faith in BJP,” Modi said while addressing a rally in MP.

In his approximately 45-minutes speech, Modi dedicated most of his time targeting Congress and the Nehru-Gandhi family and eulogizing his government for the development across the country, since 2014.

Here are the highlights of PM Modi's MP speech:

#Congress praises the cow in its MP polls manifesto, but slaughters a calf on the streets of Kerala and eats beef.

#Talking about corruption he quoted former PM Rajiv Gandhi "The corruption is so widespread that if govt releases one rupee, only 15 paise would reach people." Modi asked who was responsible for looting those 85 paise when Congress was in power? Where was it going? He also added, "When we came to power, through Aadhaar, we put a check on corruption & saved nearly Rs. 90,000 crore."

#Making false promises is the basic nature of Congress party. They ruled for four generations; I challenge them to produce a report of their work during their government.

#The Congress not only backstabs the people of the country, but also its own party members
