PM Modi, Amit Shah lay foundation stone of BJP's new head office

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah on Thursday kept the foundation stone for party’s new headquarters at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg here.

The new building will be constructed on a two-acre plot located near the busy ITO crossing.

BJP’s new headquarters to boast several facilities:

• The new office building of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will have wi-fi connectivity
• It will have underground parking facility, conference hall and media facilities
• Party’s new headquarters will studio for media interviews
• It will have a library and a reading room
• A big canteen will be constructed inside the building

It is believed that the new building will ready to serve the party members ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
