NEW DELHI: Assembly elections in Kerala are going to be held in the next few months (Kerala Assembly Elections 2021). The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is on a big mission to enter the 'City of God' Kerala. A few days ago E. Sreedharan, who hails from Kerala and known as Metro Man, joined BJP. The BJP is also eyeing former Olympian and former athlete PT Usha, known as Udanpari. The party hopes that the results of the Kerala assembly elections will come in their favor.

PT Usha is already supporting BJP:

After E. Sreedharan, the aggressive manner in which BJP is luring him to join 'Udanpari' PT Usha in the party is not surprising to the people of Kerala. PT Usha recently strongly supported the BJP and the Center on agricultural laws. The former athlete's tweet also showed a certain inclination and support for the BJP.

Udanpari also slammed Greta Thunberg:

PT Usha was also among those who condemned the remarks of climate change activist Greta Thunberg and singer Rihanna. In a tweet, PT Usha wrote, 'We take pride in our culture and heritage and are true models of democracy. Do not interfere in our internal affairs, we know how we can solve our own issues. Because we are one and the same nation. Diversity in maintaining world diversity. # India against Propaganda.

The BJP has a two-pronged strategy. First, to reach out to Hindu voters and to be limited to those women who have reached puberty or have not crossed it in favor of Sabarimala. Second, the BJP hopes to bring these symbols along with the urban young voters of Kerala.

Sources say that the BJP is also hoping to include some popular film stars, cultural and social sector dignitaries in the party. Apart from 'Mission Dakshin', the other objective of the saffron party is to cut the Congress vote, as the Congress hopes to return to the state in the coming elections.
